For those who do venture outside, one of Philadelphia’s most beloved summer traditions, Parks on Tap is operating for it’s fifth season of supporting Philadelphia’s parks.

For 2020, the traveling outdoor beer garden that gives back adapted to two stationary beer garden locations at Fairmount Horticulture Center (100 N. Horticultural Drive) and next to the famous Waterworks by Boathouse Row.  Each location offers fresh food, beers on tap and non-alcoholic beverages set in an outdoor environment with comfortable chairs and clean restrooms.

Parks on Tap is family (and fido) friendly. Parks on Tap is free to join, but a daily sign in is required as information will be used for contact tracing if it becomes necessary. Food and drink are pay-as-you-go. Seating is first come, first served.

Parks on Tap kicked off in 2016 as a way to engage the Philadelphia community and give back to the neighborhood parks. A portion of all proceeds are donated to Fairmount Park Conservancy to help restore and maintain Philly’s parks.
